Passage: Romans 14:1-12

Preacher: Pastor Shaltanis

Category: Church History, Word of God

Keywords: argue, judge, love, quarrel, welcome, worship, adiaphra

Summary:

Paul said in Romans 14, "As for the one who is weak in faith, welcome him, but not to quarrel over opinions. One person believes he may eat anything, while the weak person eats only vegetables. Let not the one who eats despise the one who abstains, and let not the one who abstains pass judgement on the one who eats, for God has welcomed him." In matters of Adiaphra (neither promoted nor forbidden by scripture), one should do what one's conscience leads him to do, with consideration of those with whom he is worshiping. Love and honor one another, because God first loved you. God will be our judge, not our fellow man.
